Paddington goes underground...

Iquitos - the largest settlement on the planet into which everything must be imported by air or boat, including me.  More on this enticing city later, for now I've booked myself onto a 14 day programme incorporating a variety of practices with ayahuasca as the central theme.  No doubt there'll be a flurry of blog entries on my return.  Until then, I hope you enjoy advent and connect with as many folks as you care to over mince pies, mulled wine and long walks in the snow!  Hasta dos semanas...

Loving the blog Mr W! Tonight it has provided the perfect distraction from decorating hell and after reading your intriguing journeys into mind invigorating Peruvian plants, the Cactus in the corner of the kitchen is now looking like tomorrow night's antedote to the headache inducing fumes of turps and gloss ;-)

My only concern is that on your return to Blighty, your newly acquired taste for Kentucky Fried Cuy could leave Storm in danger, (particularly if she happens to be enjoying the heat from an open fire!) She will therefore be placed in temporary hiding until your tastebuds have satisfied her majesty's quarantine officials!

Love and best wishes from two very jealous geographer's (and the one in the making). Happy Trekking x x

Hey Kel
Thanks for the comments, glad you're finding the reading entertaining. For now I think Storm will be safe, there's more meat on a guinea pig anyway (sorry Storm!).
I hope everything's going swimmingly in your worlds, really looking forward to keeping your seat warm next year! x
